Hello & welcome to my site.

I love candles & I love creating them. I use them all the time and really love making them. It is a huge creative outlet getting to think of color/scent combos, type of candles and taking pictures of them and playing with different types of candle holders or how to display them. There is so much creativity you can pour into the creation. With just a little wax, color and scent you can create different shapes, types and candles for so many different uses!
I am a heavy candle user; for decor, scents, mood, aromatherapy, spirituality- meditation, ritual, prayer, and of course light!

I began creating candles as a fun hobby, to save money instead of buying them and having something handmade where I could know what was in it and that it wasn't some mass produced object.

I sell my candles on http://www.etsy.com/. If you haven't heard of it, Etsy is a great website where people can sell handmade items and vintage stuff. I love the site & have shopped there in the past. It is a great place to find unique stuff for sure & I truly love the handmade nature of it. Knowing that I can talk to the person who actually crafted the item I am buying.

I remember once my husband and I were shopping for Christmas and went into this glass shop and we sat there talking to this little old couple that owned it and he made everything in the store himself right there in front of us even. It was so neat and I loved that we got to talk to them. We ended up buying little glass frogs for my MiL in case you are curious lol.

All my candles are handmade with care & love by myself in my own home. If I wouldn't use it myself or gift the candle to my most favorite loved ones then I wouldn't sell it either. This is my passion and I pride myself on every creation. I feel something hand made by someone who cares deeply about what they are creating is important & I am glad that I can share that with others.

Each candle is made with the highest quality ingredients. I use 100% Clean burning, all natural, safe, Soy Wax. I use fragrant oils for scent & dye chips unless otherwise noted within the product description, such as those that are unscented, dye free or made with essential oils.

Why Soy?

• Soy candles are safe and natural. 
• Made from soy grown in America (helping to promote our economy). 
• They are made from a renewable source and are not made from petroleum like paraffin wax candles. This makes it safer for you and better for the environment to burn. 
• While no candle is 100% soot free, soy candles produce about 90% less soot then paraffin for a safer healthier burn.
• Soy is renewable and biodegradable.
• Soy is easier to clean if spilled. Usually can be cleaned up easily with soap and water!
• Soy also has a lower melting point allowing for a longer lasting, strong and consistent fragrance.

All of my products come from a smoke free home.  We do have pets though we try our best to keep them away from all products & packaging.

About me?

My name is Aimee. I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I horribly miss the beautiful mountains. Now I live in Western New York, near where my husband is from. My husband & I live with too many cats & other pets that we spoil rotten.

My favorite color is purple. I love to read and my Kindle is one of my favorite things ever. I collect My Little Ponies. I also spend far far too much time online lol.
