Purpose of this blog

This blog was created with the focus and intent to promote my shop @ http://www.etsy.com/shop/MoonFireWicks
Here I will share updates, shop information, specials, sales, and showcase my lovely candles. From time to time I may also discuss crafting, business issues and share my opinions on sites, other shops, etsy, and craft supplies. This blog is entirely written by myself (Aimee Sek) for Moon Fire Wicks. Everything posted is from my own opinion & thoughts.

Comments

I do monitor and approve all comments before they are posted. While I am always open to constructive criticism I hope that it would be mature, with a helpful intent and kind in nature. There is no reason to attack another. My feedback is always available to see on etsy if you would like to see what my customers think. If you have any issue with any of my products please contact me asap & I will always try my best to work out the issue with you. I do not share, sell or rent any personal information with anyone. Information submitted to me is used for the purposes of fulfilling your order, contacting you regarding your order or the shipping status of your order.

Ads & Banners

I may use google adsense & amazon associates account. I do not accept any other type of ads currently. I will accept banner exchanges (you link to me & I to you) if I actually use and enjoy your product. I would never link directly to a site that I didn't fully like and support myself.

Reviews

If I review a product it is because I enjoyed it or disliked it and wanted to share my opinion. I do not accept money or reimbursement or anything else for my posts. They are fully my own opinion and view and nothing else. If you disagree with my view that is always ok as well, and I encourage you to comment and let me know your well thought out opinion and maybe change my mind.

Requests for samples, donations, & giveaways...

I am open to requests. That being said it is on a case by case business. If I like your blog, feel that it is on a topic that suits my candles and has a healthy amount of followers I may send free samples or products to be used in a giveaway.
I may also be open to giveaways if you pay the shipping and offer add space.
I may also be willing to donate items for good causes.
Again all of this is on a case by case basis. Everyone loves free stuff and I sadly I can't just give everything away or I would go broke! It costs me money to craft each item afterall. There may also be times where I just can not afford to do so.

If you are interested in reviewing my products then I must insist that you purchase them. I do not wish to "buy" reviews in anyway. If you buy my candles and like them I would love for you to link to me or share the news!

WARNING FOR THOSE WITH PET ALLERGIES:
If you or the recipient of my product has animal dander allergies please know that my products are handcrafted within my home that is shared with many furbabies. I try my very best to keep them out of my work area and away from all supplies and packaging. Stray hairs may on occasion slip past my watchful eye. Please shop with caution. Thank you.

WARNING: Failure to follow instructions could result in fire, injury or smoke damage. Fire can be dangerous & cause harm if you do not follow the proper care and instructions.  Please always use care & safety when burning candles. DO NOT leave a lit candle unattended and use extra caution around pets or children (keeping out of reach of both!). Do not move while candle is burning or wax is hot. Always burn candles in the appropriate container or holder specifically made for candle burning of that type & melt tarts in a proper tart warmer. Always burn candles on a heat resistant surface. Keep away from drafts and flammable objects. Do not extinguish container candles with the lid. Keep wicks trimmed.

Candle care and candle burning is a responsibility, please burn wisely! MoonFireWicks is NOT responsible for damage or injury due to lack of care and attention when burning our candles. MoonFireWicks shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses of any kind due to your use of any product purchased.
